Kristie and Steve had the most beautiful wedding at Rossington Hall! I’ve known both Kristie and Steve for around 20 years and met up with so many of my old friends from my previous life with the great and good of SYP!

When couples plan a wedding, the weather is usually the first thing on their minds. But if there is one venue where you absolutely do not need to worry about a "Plan B," it’s this magnificent Grade II listed Victorian estate. This beautiful wedding was the perfect example of how to use the absolute best of both worlds: a highly romantic, softly lit indoor ceremony, followed by a glorious, sun-drenched afternoon out on the lawns.
The Magic of an Indoor Ceremony
There is something undeniably intimate about an indoor ceremony at Rossington Hall. The historic rooms feature rich, dark wood panelling that could easily feel heavy, but the large Victorian windows let in the most beautiful, directional natural light.
As a wedding photographer, this kind of light is an absolute dream to work with. It creates a soft, cinematic, and incredibly flattering look that brings a quiet, timeless romance to the vows. A Glorious Sunny Afternoon on the Lawns of Rossington Hall
After the "I dos" were said and the register was signed, we stepped out the front doors and were greeted by a glorious, bright, sunny day! What’s not to love?!
The 250-acre estate really came into its own here. Guests mingled with champagne, whilst some of the best party games took place. Giant Jenga, Croquet, Hook-a-Duck, and Coconut Shies, you name it!
From the sunken garden to the impressive front facade of the hall, the bright sunshine gave us the perfect backdrop to capture the joy and laughter of the afternoon.
Guests then headed back to Rossington Hall’s beautiful Ballroom for some glorious food, dancing and partying!
